In the space below is some of the printed history of the band, right down to our very first gig. When we first started compiling all of the things that we'd kept over the years, we had no idea that there would be so much of it stashed away in the bowels of our file cabinets. The more that we dug around, the more things we found that we didn't even know that we still had. We hope that you enjoy it.
When we first started playing together, we knew that in order for us to be successful at this, we needed a following of friends who would actually want to come out to see us play. Without it (you), we're nothing. So right off the bat, before we played our first gig, we started a mailing list. We got as many of our friend's addresses as we could & we mailed them our calendar each month. We made sign-up sheets & actively canvassed the rooms that we played. We were on a lot of people's refrigerators (or their dartboards). Bobby & I sat around his kitchen table every month, folding & stuffing all of the envelopes, often enlisting his father to help us do all of the work. Below is a sampling of the monthly mailers that we found. To our complete surprise, we even have the very first one we ever sent.
