2 A.M. specializes in offering you a thoroughly planned, professionally executed, completely personalized evening's worth of live entertainment that can be enjoyed by all. We feel that the key to a memorable event is in the time that's spent planning, consulting and preparing for it. This is one of the things that we feel sets us far apart from other groups. Being a good band is only one aspect, out of many, that are required for this type of event. We know of no other group that goes to the lengths that we do to plan and personalize your event with you, to help ensure that it turns out exactly the way that you had envisioned it. You're sure to be impressed by our professionalism, our attention to detail, and our work ethic in planning and handling your corporate event.
When shopping for corporate entertainment, please keep in mind that there is normally much more involved with performing at an event like this than "just showing up & playing" like we would at a regular nightclub date. There is a considerable art in being able to plan and handle all of the details and responsibilities that are normally associated with events such as this, as well as, being able to execute that plan in a professional manner that seems effortless, seamless, and flawless to your guests. It takes experience in doing it together, to do it well, because everybody in the group is involved with what's happening. Between the four of us, we have over 100 years of combined professional performance experience. We've been working together in this particular group for almost 12 years, and we have played over 2,500 dates together since the band first formed in 1996. We've performed together at many corporate events, weddings, nightclubs, private parties, other functions and special events over the years.

General Corporate Event Information:
When you hire our group for your corporate event, we'll consult with you to create a detailed schedule of events for the band to execute that day, from beginning to end. We'll plan and personalize everything with you, from the background CD music that plays as your guests arrive, to the last song of the night and everything in between. We'll provide copies of the schedule of events that day to any other vendors who you've hired, so that everyone involved with your event knows what's going on (and what's supposed to go on) at all times.
Every song that the band performs at your event will be 100% pre-approved by you. To pick out the material that the group plays, simply print out a copy of our song list, highlight 50-60 songs that you would like to hear, and send the list back to us. You can also let us know your "hate list" (if there are any songs that you absolutely do not want us to play). We'll consult with you about your song selections, make any suggestions that we may have, then we'll use your pre-approved list to pick from during all of our sets. You get the piece of mind in knowing that every song that the band performs at your event has been pre-screened by you.
We'll consult with you to pick out all of the different CD music that will need to be played for all of our performance breaks. From the background music that plays as guests arrive, to the dinner music, to the dance/party music later in the night, you get to pick it all. We have over 3,000 songs on CD in our collection and if what you want to use is something we don't currently have, we'll get it for you.
We will perform all necessary emcee duties and act as master of ceremonies for you at your event. We're experienced in handling these duties for all types of events and situations.
We provide all of the Public Address (P.A.) equipment that we need for our performance (up to 500 people), and we also have our own lighting system for our stage area as well. We'll provide you with (1) wireless hand-held microphone for anyone who needs to make any toasts, speeches or announcements during the event.

Things To Consider When Shopping For Corporate Entertainment:
We always advise potential clients to go see any band in person that they're considering hiring for their event before making a final decision. You really need to see for yourself exactly who and what you're hiring. Pay close attention to these things:
- How do they sound live? Note the overall clarity of the band's sound (Can you clearly hear all of the vocalists and instruments?). Also take note of the overall volume of the band (Is it too loud for the particular situation/audience?). Our drummer uses a complete set of electronic drums (including the snare drum and cymbals). What this means is that, when we're playing, we're not trying to get the volume of all of our other instruments over the volume that's normally coming from the drums (as most bands have to do). An acoustic set of drums is a very loud instrument. To us, using them in a situation like this puts you at a disadvantage because the volume of the drums dictates what you're capable of doing with the rest of the band's overall volume and mix. It leaves you with little headroom to work with if you're trying to get the vocals, guitars, and other instruments over the volume that's normally coming from the drums. It's a vicious cycle. Think about it, do you really want your band's volume during the cocktail set (while everyone's mingling) to be as loud as it would be for the dance/party sets later in the night? Of course not. Using the equipment that we do gives us complete control of our presentation, so that we're able to appropriately adjust our overall volume to ensure that it's appropriate for what's currently going on during the event.
- Note the material that they play. Are the songs that the band is performing appropriate for the particular audience/situation, or are they just playing what they want to hear themselves? As we stated above, every song that our band performs at your event will come from a list that's 100% pre-approved by you. We have over 260 songs in our repertoire, in a wide variety of styles, so we can usually please just about anyone's tastes. Upon your request, we'll gladly provide copies of our song list at the event, if you'd like for your guests to be able to make a few song requests too.
- If the band is playing "cover" songs, do they sound like the original? We go to great lengths to faithfully reproduce the songs that we perform as you know them. And while it's OK to sometimes take a little bit of "creative license" when performing other artist's music, you can't stray too far away from the original arrangement or you end up with a song that's unfamiliar to your audience. If you'd like to see and hear samples of us performing other artist's music, please visit our Audio/Video page to view our live performance videos and to listen to some of our audio demos.
- Take note of how they interact with a crowd. How a group presents themselves live to an audience is a good indicator of the job that they'll do for you and the professionalism with which they'll handle your event. If you'd like to come to see us for yourself when you're evaluating potential entertainment choices for your corporate event, please take a look at our calendar to see where we're playing each week. We welcome you to attend one of our club dates anonymously when you're shopping for entertainment for your event, or by all means, please feel free to introduce yourself and say hello.
- What about the equipment they use? The band's equipment should be high quality, professional gear, in good working order. We use over $40k worth of equipment when performing for corporate events. We use only the best. Our P.A. speakers are a high quality, completely matched system by JBL Professional (SRX-Series). Our mixing console (Crest Audio XR-20) and other outboard gear rivals or exceeds that of anyone you'll see performing on this level, anywhere. We've gone to great lengths and expense to research and build our system. When it comes to the equipment that you depend on every night, there are no shortcuts, and we've taken none with the gear that we use. If you'd like a detailed list of our equipment, we'll be happy to provide you with one upon request.
- As far as our rates... We're well aware that there are other bands out there who will perform for your event for less money than we will. But it's our belief that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes hiring quality, professional corporate entertainment. Do you really want to trust your company's event's success to someone who will quote you the cheapest price, just to get the job? If you want to be sure that you get what you want, when you want it, how you want it, and you want to be assured that you've hired an experienced professional who will spend the time necessary to do the job right, then we're definitely the right choice for you and your corporate event.
To secure a date for your event, we require a 50% security deposit in advance and for you to sign a standard entertainment booking agreement with us.
