2 A.M. is a 4-piece band from Orlando, Florida that plays Classic through Contemporary Top 40/Rock/Variety. 2 A.M. consists of musicians Bobby France (vocals/guitar), Mark Carter (guitar/vocals), Randy Hibbard (drums/vocals) and Rick Jorgensen (bass/vocals). All of the members of the group are well-seasoned, accomplished players who have over 100 years of combined professional performance experience. The group has extensive experience in performing for most any type of event, such as: Company Parties, Conventions, Corporate Events, Private Parties, Nightclubs, Wedding Receptions and more.

2 A.M. has a repertoire of over 275 songs, encompassing a wide variety of artists and musical styles. The song list ranges from standards such as: “Brown Eyed Girl” or “Mustang Sally,” Classic Rock from bands such as The Beatles or The Eagles, Top 40/Rock such as Dave Mathews Band or Train, Adult Contemporary such as Steely Dan or Seal, and Modern Rock such as Coldplay or Nickelback.

2 A.M. was originally formed as a duo back in January 1996 by Bobby France and Mark Carter. Prior to that, Bobby and Mark had separately spent many years on the road touring the country playing in “A” Circuit Clubs with various bands over the course of their careers. By 1995, they had both grown weary of constantly traveling, so they both individually decided to give up the road life, put down some roots, and try a different approach to playing. Having previously known each other through a mutual friend, Bobby approached Mark about starting a new band together in late 1995. "Bobby came out to a club to see a group that I was filling in with one night, and we started talking about forming a new band," Mark says. "I didn't hesitate at all because I know how hard it is to find a good vocalist to team up with, let alone someone with his talent." The first time that they actually rehearsed together, it was clear to both of them right away that what they had been missing in other bands was the chemistry that they had just discovered between them when they sang and played together. "To me, the vocals are the focal point of a group's sound," Bobby says. "You have to have good, quality vocalists who can harmonize together well and compliment each other's voices. Without the ability to do that, you're really limiting yourself as to what you're capable of performing." Once they started performing live together, it didn't take long before 2 A.M. was booked months in advance, playing 5-6 nights a week, or more.

Drummer Randy Hibbard had been regularly coming to see Mark and Bobby play around town, and over time they got to be very good friends. At the time, Randy was playing with another band that he'd been with for 23 years. He was ready to make a change, and he eventually started playing a few dates with 2 A.M. when his schedule permitted. After a few months, he was ready to take the plunge, and in January 2003 Randy became a full-time member of the group. Bassist Rick Jorgensen is the newest addition to the group, having joined in January 2008. The band has been looking for the “right” bass player for quite some time now, and Rick is a good fit with the group, on stage and off. Adding Rick was the final piece of the puzzle that completed the group’s transformation from the duo that they had started out as back in 1996, into the full 4-piece band that they are today.

Over the past 12 years, 2 A.M. has established themselves as a mainstay in the Orlando and Central Florida music scene, having played together live over 2,500 times. Most recently, the band was recognized in the local NBC affiliate WESH 2/ CW 18’s A-List Contest, in which they placed 2nd out of 136 bands in the “Best Local Bands” category. Mark says, "When I think back to our first few gigs together, I'm amazed at how far we've come with this band. We've continuously evolved from the very beginning, never being content to just get out and play live. We wanted to be the best at what we do, so we work harder at it than other bands, because we just wouldn't be happy doing anything else besides playing music."

You're sure to be impressed with the band's attention to detail, their work ethic, and their overall professionalism. For almost 12 years now, it's what has set them far apart from other groups. From black-tie to poolside, 2 A.M. can accommodate any situation and they are:
