"The Professional Choice to Fill Your Entertainment Needs"

We regretfully inform you that in April 2010, guitarist Mark Carter (one of the founding members of the band 2 A.M.) was taken seriously ill and diagnosed with a large mass in his left lung which turned out to be Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer. This is an uncommon, very aggressive type of cancer which spreads very rapidly. By the time it was discovered it had already spread to several other areas of his body including his spine, pelvis, tailbone, and most importantly, his brain. Mark is currently battling for his life with this disease and it's simply a terrible nightmare for him and his family (which includes a beautiful 7-year-old daughter). The specialists that are in charge of Mark's care are treating the cancer very aggressively with chemo AND radiation therapy at the same time, and we pray that his body starts to respond immediately to these treatments. Mark is now disabled and unable to work for a minimum of 12 months or more while he receives the treatments he needs to save his life. Make no mistake about the status of his condition, there is no "cure" for this diagnosis. The best scenario that we look & pray for (God willing), is life extension or possible remission. If we can beat this back to remission, a lot of things are possible, but that's a LONG ways away from right here & right now.

Even with health insurance, all of the the doctor/specialist/treatment/office visit/prescription drug co-pays continue to pile up, all of the family's regular monthly bills continue to pile up, literally everything continues to pile up while the family's income has now been cut in half since this all began. If you would like to help the family out, you can make a direct donation in any amount of money by clicking on one of the "Donate" buttons you see on this page. These buttons are all linked directly to a savings account with PayPal for the Carter family, and ONLY the family has access to this account.

We appreciate all of the love and support you've always shown us and our band over the years here in Central Florida. We thank each of you for everything that you do for us in our time of need and we send back to you our thanks, gratitude, and love. You are all simply the best of the best and we're proud to be able to call you our friends.

For over 14 years 2 A.M. has rocked this town, area, region, and everywhere in between. For now, we take an indefinite hiatus with the band while we stand together with Mark while he battles this horrible disease. Please join us in prayers for Mark & his family. We all pray to God for a great healing, outcome, and for a full remission. But until further notice, 2 A.M. is on indefinite hiatus.

All of our love,

Bobby, Randy, Rick, and Mark
2 A.M.
